After you pay

What happens when a course is paid for, and what does not. This is the page the payment lands on, and it is worth reading before rather than after.

The payment

If you have just come back from the payment page, it went through there and not here: your card statement and the payment provider's own receipt are the record of it. The address of this page carries your order reference — the long value after order= — and quoting it saves a search.

What does not happen

Nothing arrives by itself. There is no mail going out on this yet and no page here that opens a chapter. The 156 chapters across 13 lines of work are written and they are not yet published anywhere a link could reach, so the order is recorded and the chapters are sent by hand.

What to do

Write to hi@gala.ltd with that reference and say which trade you are in, and a person sends the chapters for it. No date is promised here, because none has been set and a page is the wrong place to invent one.

What is held against your name

One thing: an order, against the email address you typed. If you gave a website it is held too and the two together are how the order is found again; if you did not — and neither course needs one, because both are things you read — the email alone is enough. Two people with no website are never one order, and one person coming back twice is never two.

Nothing about a card is held here. The payment page belongs to the payment provider and no card number, expiry or security code reaches this site at any point.

If you did not pay

Closing the payment page charges nothing and loses nothing. Going back to the form with the same email picks the order up where it was — it holds, and a fresh payment page opens on the next attempt, however many times it takes.

Either of the two courses lands here, and this page names neither amount on purpose: it cannot tell which one was bought, and a figure that is right for one buyer and wrong for the other is worse than no figure. The amounts are on the pages below.
