Somebody asks an assistant where to eat tonight with a table for six at eight o'clock, and it answers with a name. It picks the place whose page says the prices and says what it can seat. Yours doesn't say it. Your parents' generation had this morning once, and the ones who waited spent four years saying we don't need a website, we have regulars.

In hospitality, somebody already tried to teach this and then stopped — and the shape of how they stopped is the finding. On 22 October 2026 we read a site calling itself a weekly podcast for restaurants about working with AI. The word episode appears on its homepage 140 times. Its actual channel holds nine videos. The most recent is from 15 June 2026. The view counts run from 28 to 688.

That is not a competitor. That is a vacated seat with the chair still warm. Of thirteen trades, hospitality is one of six with no accredited course and nobody publishing — and it is the only one of the six where the attempt was made, announced at scale, and abandoned inside a season.

Which is a strange kind of good news, because it means the question was never answered for your trade and the market noticed it should be. And the part a podcast could never have done for you is the part that decides it: your actual prices, your actual hours, whether the kitchen does a gluten-free version of the thing, whether you take a party of twelve on a Friday. In our own measurement, every business an assistant named was named for something its page actually said.

So the sentences have to come from you, and tonight is as good as any. Gala for your restaurant is where a diner's assistant goes to read them. Bring one topic's worth about each of twelve things a diner needs before they book — Findability, Qualifiability, Bookability, Predictability, Visibility, Automability, Memory, Continuity, Reachability, Countability, Answerability, Learnability — and you qualify. Then you answer the ninety questions yourself; nobody puts words in your menu.

Measured 22 October 2026 from the channel's own upload feed, where a live feed must return fifteen entries and a dead channel id returns 404 with none. Nine entries is a whole catalogue, not a failed fetch.
