Identify your salon today
for hair salons, barbers, nail technicians and med-spas · 23 October 2026
Somebody asks an assistant where to get a balayage this weekend, and it answers with a name. It picks the salon whose page says the price and says who to book with. Yours doesn't say it. Your parents' generation had this same morning once, and the shops that waited spent four years saying we're on Facebook.
Here is the thing about your trade that is true of no other on our list: the room is already full, and this subject has never come up in it. On 22 October 2026 we read the feed of the biggest salon-business education channel there is. It publishes weekly. It is on episode 268. In its fifteen most recent episodes, the number about working with an assistant is zero. Its one episode on the subject, from July, reads 220 views.
So an audience of salon owners assembles every single week, on purpose, to learn how to run the business — and nobody has mentioned the thing that decides whether a new client finds you.
There is a second half, and it is the reason this is yours to do rather than your software's. The two systems a solo stylist in America is most likely to be running are the two with no way in at all. One of them publishes a developers' page that is byte-for-byte identical to its marketing homepage, all 382,932 of them. Nobody is going to automate this on your behalf. It is sentences, written by you.
And you can write them this afternoon. What a colour costs, what a correction costs, how long you need for it, who in the shop does it, and whether you have anything this week. You say those twenty times a day on the phone.
Do it today. The channel will get to this eventually and 268 episodes of audience will hear it at once. Gala for your Instagram store is where your answers live and get read. Bring one topic's worth about each of twelve things a client needs before they'll sit in your chair — Findability, Qualifiability, Bookability, Predictability, Visibility, Automability, Memory, Continuity, Reachability, Countability, Answerability, Learnability — and you qualify. Then you answer the ninety questions yourself.
Measured 22 October 2026 from the channel's own upload feed, against a control feed that had to return fifteen entries, and from the vendors' own developer hosts.
